Debugging: Check variable values during simulation

Hi coppelia,

I am wondering, if there is any way to check the values of variables and signals while simulation is running and paused. Is that in any way possible? Also, can I see, where in my code the simulation is at the moment?

Thank you.

Re: Movement along path supported by rotary tilting table

Hi coppelia, thanks for the suggestions. I think I need some more explanations though:) Build your set-up in order to have your welding part not mobile. I don't really have a welding part, it's just a path, as in here: http://www.forum.coppeliarobotics.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1747&p=6919&hilit=move+...

Movement along path supported by rotary tilting table

Hi coppelia, the problem I am facing is the following: I have a robot which is following a defined path via IK at the moment. I connected that path to the rotary tilting table which is positioned in front of the robot. So when the table moves, the path will move as well. Now what I want to achieve i...

Adding new script via Remote API

Hi coppelia, The task to be performed is very easy, just following a defined path. But the path is supposed to come from Remote API. I understand it is possible to define a path via remote API. I guess you can transfer the path-values and then use a signal to execute the regular API createPath and I...

Re: Robot jumps to path at simulation start

You understood correctly. The first suggestion sounds great. The end-effector does not have to move on a straight line. But how do I do it? Do I use simGetObjectConfiguration to get the startConfiguration? That returns a rawBufferHandle, how can I make a matrix out of that? Should I use simInterpola...

Re: Robot jumps to path at simulation start

Thank you, that really helped! I split the movement into three parts now: Moving to the path, moving along the path, and moving back to the original position. I used the matrix interpolation, which worked very nicely. Now my only other problem is the joint positions. Of course, in the end they are d...

Robot jumps to path at simulation start

Hello, I am trying to make my robot move along a predefined path. Before starting the simulation the robot is always in the same position. When I start the simulation, the robot "jumps" to the beginning of the path, moves along the path, and jumps back as soon as the simulation ends. I want it to mo...
