Re: Visualize sensor trace

Thank you for your reply @fferri: once it arrives at 200 created objects, it seems that the simulation starts to slow down a bit. Moreover, the since the created shapes has a level of trasparency (otherwise they cover the robot from a top-view), two overlapping shapes gave to me different variation ...

Re: Visualize sensor trace

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I can definitely do that. But, I have to perform a simulation that lasts minutes. Then, drawing objects, lets say every 2 seconds, forces V-REP to create a relevant number of objects that will slow down the simulation. For this reason, I was asking if there is a way to...

Visualize sensor trace

Dear all, I have a (maybe) strange question that I would like to ask. Consider that a mobile robot (e.g., a simple unicycle) has a sensor (e.g., a 360deg laser) that is mounted on the top of the robot. This sensor has a limited range (e.g., a circle around the sensor). I would like that, when the ro...

Draw a dashed line

Hi everyone, my question is really simple but I did not find any clear reply. Is it possible to draw a dotted/dashed line in V-REP? I'm pretty sure it is possible but I do not find out how (when one clicks on an object in V-REP a dashed box appears...). I looked at the options of the function simAdd...

Because i would to add the zeromq lua library bindings and use it inside a child script.
thank you very much for your help

Re: NaoQi with v-Rep

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay but I was out of the forum in the last months. As described in this post http://www.forum.coppeliarobotics.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3353&p=13529&hilit=nao#p13529 I'm searching for volunteers that test/expand the V-REP plugin (that connects the simulated NAO to NAOQ...

Re: Support for accelerated physics engines?

Hello Alan, I'm the guy that developed NAO in V-REP. I'm interested in your project of integrating GPU acceleration during simulation. Did you make any progress from the date of the post? If you are interested in, I also developed a bridge with NAOQI software for V-REP and I'm searching for people i...

NAOQI - V-REP plugin: searching for testing/developing peple

Hello everyone, this is not a usual post but a request for people who are interested in helping me in upgrading and extending my plugin for the NAO robot in V-REP. I developed a plugin for V-REP that creates a communication between Chroregraphe (more in general NAOQI) and the simulated NAO in V-REP....

Re: Set dynamic mass from C++ plugin

just for the community knowledge, I think I solve by setting: simSetObjectFloatParameter(handle, 3005, mass); simResetDynamicObject(handle); I think that it is working also with simSetShapeMassAndInertia(handle, mass, inertia, CoM, NULL); simResetDynamicObject(handle); but I have to test it. The pro...
