How to draw a circle

Hi,

I would like to draw a circle with something like simAddDrawingObject.
Is there any possibility to do that?

Thanks

Re: Velocity override

Another question, with this routine I can specify the maximal velocity, is it possible to specify the "cruise" velocity?

Re: Velocity override

I found the problem:

I wrote:

Code: Select all

initialP,initialO = getTargetPosVectorFromObjectPose(Point)
instead of:

Code: Select all

initialP,initialO = getTargetPosVectorFromObjectPose(target)

"target" is the point that the IK has to follow, while "Point" is goal point.

Re: Velocity override

Thank you, I'm using the following code: target=simGetObjectHandle('robot_target') targetBase=simGetObjectHandle('robot_base') maxVel={0.1,0.1,0.1,1.0} maxAccel={0.01,0.01,0.01,0.02} maxJerk={0.1,0.1,0.1,0.8} Point = simGetObjectHandle('Point') targetP,targetO = getTargetPosVectorFromObjectPose(Poin...

Re: Velocity override

Thank you!
now I would like to specify a cartesian position, and then dinamically modify the velocity override of the robot (end-effector velocity).
I already added a working IK group. Could you help me?

Velocity override

Hi,

I should stop the motion of a robot when a particular condition occurs, and resume it when another condition occurs.
This means that I have to specify a motion (e.g. with simRMLMoveToJointPositions) and then "pause" it, setting the velocity override to 0.
Could you help me?

simLaunchExecutable: Directory of the executable

I would like to launch an executable via the simLaunchExecutable command, but I don't know which is the standard directory where V-Rep looks for the executable. Could you help me?

Re: How to Unpack Floats

I "solved" using the simxGetStringSignal command instead of simxReadStringStream.

Re: How to Unpack Floats

Thank you again, but I have always the same problem.. The dimension of the signal should be always 1368 (my array has this length). Instead I receive always a different dimention: 13680,16416,15048 and 68400. These numbers are multiples of 1368, so I guess there is a kind of buffer. What I would lik...
