Re: simros_strmcmd_set_integer_signal glitch

Hello,

This new ROS interface is interesting indeed. Can both the RosPlugin and the RosInterface work simultaneously? (I already have some code with the RosPlugin and it would be easier to transition to RosInterface bit by bit).

Thanks,

Antoine.

simros_strmcmd_set_integer_signal glitch

Hello, When using simros_strmcmd_set_integer_signal in simExtROS_enableSubscriber , I never can receive the first signal. I can see the signal transported by ROS (via rostopic echo ), but nothing happens in my code. The following signals are correctly handled though. Any idea of what is going wrong?...

Break a joint (pivot)

Hi all, I need to simulate breaks on a pivot joint. My joint has motor enabled, with control loop and PID (P=1, I=0, D=0). The break should be triggered on a ROS topic reception and totally prevent the joint angle to change (whatever the desired position and command). I had a look at vrep joints opt...

ROS diagram

Hello, I am trying to understand the ROS diagram here http://www.coppeliarobotics.com/helpFiles/en/rosInterfaceOverview.htm. Looking at the picture I have the feeling that ros::spinOnce() is only called once before the main script loop is run. I find this weird: this ros::spinOnce() before the main ...

Re: Visualizing inertias

Hello,

I have played with the option and I believe what is confusing is the need to switch the layers to 9-16 by hand after asking to visualize the inertia. Maybe the layers switch should be done automatically...

Just my 2 cents...

Antoine.
