Re: Problem with implementing IK mode on UR5 robot

Hello, your main problem is that you still have a script attached to object UR5 , that tries to control the joints in FK mode. Obviously having two contradictory controllers for your joints won't work. Simply remove the script. Also, but this is not linked to your problem directly, you still have dy...

Re: How to prevent foot slipping

Hello Mathias, I guess your realized that the slipping is actually inevitable, given the walking gait of your robot. So this only leaves you with detecting the slipping. You could go with a dynamics callback function to check foot-floor distances. Or you could also use a contact callback function . ...

Re: Operate Fetch Robot using ROS

Hello, that sounds correct. You actually only need to think where you want to do control. You can do it in V-REP, outside of V-REP, or use a mixed approach (less recommended). In V-REP you could just have the advertising and publishing of sensor data, and also the subscribing and application of actu...

Hello Justus,

unfortunately, as for now, there are only the two mentioned functions for that.

Re: Sick Tim 310

Hello, when your sensor doesn't detect anything, then measuredData is an empty table, and data will be nil . Do: data=sim.packFloatTable(measuredData) if not data then data="" end sim.setStringSignal("measuredDataAtThisTime",data) On Matlab side, it is simxUnpackFloatTable (case sensitive). Cheers

Re: V-REP from command line, press the "hare" button

Hello, no, you can't. The only thing you can do is use an add-on script (for instance)that does this for you. You need to have set a custom time step in the simulation dialog of that scene. Then, before simulation starts, then set your time step with: sim.setFloatParameter(sim.floatparam_simulation_...

Re: Quadcopter Frame Configuration

Hello, not sure how the position/orientation of your quadcopter in V-REP is achieved... is your quadcopter dynamically enabled and are you acting on it with forces simulating the propeller thrust? From your question however I suspect that you are simply reproducing the position and orientation of a ...

Re: strange behavior on a prismatic joint

Hello Blaise,

what physics engine are you using? This is very probably due to an unbalanced mass/inertia situation. Make sure to carefully read design considerations 7-8 on this page.
