Can you post a self-contained scene that illustrates your problem? It will be easier to identify the problem in your script that slows down everything.

Hello,

your simulated motor can have different velocity or torque profiles, but you'll have to implement this yourself inside of a joint control callback function.

You have way too many triangles in your model. All those holes and details are not needed and will only slow down visualization, and simulation in general. I highly recommend to switch now to the latest V-REP version, otherwise you will run into more trouble later on.

your manipulator is generating a lot of self-collisions. Try turning Display contact points on to see that. You should work with the shape's respondable masks.
