Re: VREP in virtual reality

I'd like to confim that it's running on my WMR headset (lenovo explorer), using steamVR, Boris' pre compiled vrepVIVE execute file, and vrep 3.5.0 (rev. 4) I did not need to install anything, except downloading and launching vrepVIVE.exe. the motion controllers are not working, at least not 'out of ...

Re: Omniwheel robot rolling down an inclined plane

Thank you very much! I would never have figured out by myself how to save the linear / angular velocities before resetting the wheel, and applying them back afterwards. I ended up modeling the omniwheels differently, Changing materials with different coefficient of friction from 0 to 1, and reapplyi...

Re: Editing an existent robot

I don't suppose you see the scene hierarchy then?

Maybe post a screenshot if you still have issues?

Re: Omniwheel robot rolling down an inclined plane

I think that the issue is the joints being reset in every step of the simulation, meaning that they don't carry their velocity while spinning. This also explains why when I made the base plate much heavier, the effect was reduced. I wonder if this is really the problem and whether there are other co...

Re: Editing an existent robot

Does this help?

You can remove a sensor by deleting it, but you'd want to change the script accordingly.

Omniwheel robot rolling down an inclined plane

Hi, This is related to my previous post: http://www.forum.coppeliarobotics.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4045 I am trying to get a three-wheel omnidirectional robot to roll down an inclined plane. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25671757/v-rep/omni%20robots.PNG I set all three motors with zero speed a...

Re: Frictionless sliding vs sphere rolling on an inclined pl

That makes perfect sense... thank you :)

I would've suggested past-self to read this article:

Frictionless sliding vs sphere rolling on an inclined plane

Hi everyone, I'm new to V-rep (and robotics simulation) and really loving it so far! :) Thank you goes for the developers! I have a 5 degrees incline on a resizable floor, with a sphere made from high friction material, and a cuboid made from friction less material. for some reason, the frictionless...

Re: Control a robot arm with a joystick

I would have not figured out how to use the plugin without your example... I think this should be better documented since I found no other working example for it.

Thank you :)
