Re: Add a spring on leg
I added spherical joints but i don't think this is behaving the way I'd like it to. Basically, I want to add some elasticity to the movement of the leg by adding a spring that would damp the movements. Is there a mistake in the way I built the leg ? https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_iCEk8P-TViLS1w...

Add a spring on leg
Hello, I've modelled a biped robot and now I want to add springs between its "feet" and its "hips" but I'm unsure about the way it works. Right now I've added a prismatic joint set as a spring between the foot and a first dummy. The second dummy is a child of the "hips"...

Re: The physics engine currently selected is not supported
I had the same problem. It happens when you run the executable directly (vrep.exe), vrep fails to load a lot of stuff (plugins, engines). You have to run it from the shortcut (V-Rep Pro Edu in my case). If that does not solve it, try running that shortcut as an administrator.

Re: [Vrep 3.3.0] Shape edit painfully slow
The count is rather is high, 5000 tris, but it's not a dynamic shape.
Decimation does not really improve performance. There is a very noticeable delay between the moment a triangle is clicked on and the moment it is selected.
I guess I'll just make a custom shape in blender first.

[Vrep 3.3.0] Shape edit painfully slow
Hello, I've just installed the 3.3.0 version on my laptop and the shape edit is so slow it's unusable. I tried with and without plugging the power cord in. Yesterday I was still able to do it on the 3.2.3 version. By the way, I'm using it to extract cylinders on servo's shafts, to use as position re...
