Re: import textured mesh

The path seems to be correct,
as mentioned I can open it in Blender.
I sent you as well the correct Link now.

Re: import textured mesh

Related to that I have another questions: I have 2 different .obj files: The first (object1) is imported correctly (manual import) with texture. The second one (object2) is not. When I import both of them in Blender, it works. And I compared the files, there does not seem to be a big difference. Cou...

import textured mesh

Hi I want to import with simImportShape a textured mesh during simulation with a lua chilscript. I already read some posts, which say it seems to work, but for me only the mesh without texture is imported when using the lua function: shapeHandle=simImportShape(0,importShapePathList[1],0,0,0.001) Wha...

Re: Kinect and ROS

Hey Cedric I applied your patch, but in a LUA script v-rep doesn't know the constant: simros_strmcmd_get_depth_sensor_data which it should know know after applying the patch. The file where it should know from is v_repConst.h which is in some of the subdirectories of programming/. I rebuilt v-rep 3....

Re: make object respondable after importing

Thanks

the object is now dynamically enabled, but still does not fall down - how can I change this?

*Edit: I solved it with setting simSetObjectIntParameter(handle,3003,0)

make object respondable after importing

Hi In a childscript I import an object from a .stl file. I want to make this object respondable in the simulation by using the function simSetObjectSpecialProperty(handle,sim_objectspecialproperty_respondable) But it seems the system doesn't know the API constant sim_objectspecialproperty_respondabl...

Re: Changing Orientation of object during Simulation

Works perfectly now, I just added 3 revolute joints for spherical motor control and changed the inertia parameters!

Changing Orientation of object during Simulation

Hi During the Simulation I want to change the Orientation of a whole robotic hand, where the shape tree base is a static shape. I do the following inside a child script: if counter == 50000 then orientation = {0.2,0.3,0} -- euler angles simSetObjectOrientation(robot_handle, -1, orientation) end But ...

Re: Scaling robot model

Ok, I already checked that, but I was confused because the angles are set in radian, that was the only problem.
Solved.

Re: Scaling robot model

Ok, worked! But I still have the same problem. I try to simulate the position of the joints by a associated child script with simSetJointTargetPos. The joints are partly reached, but it seems that gravity is to large, they are not strong enough, even if I set Force Torque PID control the P-part to v...
