Re: Roomba simulation

Hello Eric,

your videos look very nice. Where did you get the model of roomba?

Sincerely
Matthias

simRMLMoveToJointPositions()

Hello, I have several questions to the function simRMLMoveToJointPositions(): - What is a good setting for the jerk? If I set zero jerk, the robot does not move. - How may I prevent the robot from oscillating when I use the function simRMLMoveToJointPositions() and the targetVelocity is not zero or ...

simSetLinkDummy() - Link Type

Hello,

I want to link two dummies while the simulation is running.
How may I set the link type of this connection? I want the link to be a 'dynamics, overlap constraint'.

Thanks

Message when IK calculation is not able to reach a pathpoint

Hello, I want an IK to follow a path. I know how to realise this in general. What I want to realise additionally is a dynamic control if the IK is able to follow the point on the path or if there are any problems while following the path because: - the point is actually too far from the IK foot - th...

Transfer path from remote

Hello,

I want to combine Matlab and v-rep.
It is very comfortable to programmatically generate a path in Matlab. What is the best way to transmit a path from remote to v-rep while v-rep is running?
Tubes are not available. May I read CSV files while v-rep is running?

Thanks for your help.

Collada Export

Hello, I have a question to the collada export: What I want to do is to export a running simulation to a collada file via the "Export animation". I expected to receive a 3D movie similar to the one the videorecording function in v-rep produces. But if I import the collada file generated by v-rep int...

Laser Sensors

Hello, I want to use the SICK S300 laser Scanner for checking if any object is around a certain area. I have two questions to this kind of sensor: - Is there any possibility to reduce the density of laser rays such as the scanning density of the 2D laser scanner? I also tried the fast Hokuyo sensor ...

Big robot models

Hello

I am interested in a bigger non-mobile robot than the IRB140 - such as the Kuka KR500 or KR1000.
Could you tell me any source where I can get a nice and realistic model of non-mobile robots? Is there any possibility to get a collada file of robots?

Thanks for your answer.

Updating non static Cuboids

Hello, I have the following problem: I want to update a cuboid; therefore I set its position (simSetObjectPosition). In my scene you can see it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/46984583/Update_Prob.ttt The Cuboid does not fall to the ground after I changed its position, although it is not static...
