try changing project(tamesi2 CXX) to project(tamesi2) (or project(tamesi2 C CXX)) in your CMakeLists.txt.

The API function sim.readProximitySensor can read the state of a proximity sensor resulting from a previous detection.

ROS nodes should be compiled with the ROS build tools.

Probably it's an issue with your locale.

Try executing os.setlocale'C' before anything else.

What are the values of address and value?

You probably have to adjust how the runLine function parses the line to cover your case.

ROS2 is still lacking several features that are available in ROS1. About ROS bridge: ROS1 and ROS2 could be in theory on the same machine, but that configuration gave me build issues.
