Re: Callback for selecting DrawingObjects

I think drawing objects cannot do the interaction you request.

Try to create a physical object (e.g. a mesh).

What are you trying to do?

Re: Model folder not found on iMac

If the app's default dir shows as /provate/var/folders/... it means the app is running in App Translocation. From https://lapcatsoftware.com/articles/app-translocation.html: Under what circumstances does App Translocation occur? First, the app must have a com.apple.quarantine extended attribute. If ...

Re: Path planning for differential drive robot

About finding the length of a path, you have to do it manually. The path returned by OMPL is a sequence of states s[1], s[2], ..., s[n], where each state is a vector. You have to define a function to measure the distance between two states, e.g. dist(a,b) . Then the path length is dist(s[1],s[2])+di...

Re: Path planning for differential drive robot

Most of the OMPL algorithms are sampling based non-optimizing. Thus, the found path is longer than the optimal path [1]. When state steering is available (e.g. geometric motion planning), optimizing sampling-based algorithms (such as RRT*) can spend more time trying to find a better path, by connect...

Re: how to write algorithm in plugin

You need to create a V-REP plugin with a Lua function callback that will execute your C++ algorithm.

Then load the plugin and call that function from the Lua child script in V-REP.

Re: python / bluezero

It seems b0_subscriber_poll has been recently added to the python bindings (see commit 77bfd9f9).

So you'll need to get the latest source code from the bluezero git repository.

Re: Bitwise shift and logical operators in Lua script inside V-REP v3.4

A left shift by n bits is equivalent to multiplying the number by 2^n.
The resulting numbers have zeros in their lower bits, so you can replace | with +.

Code: Select all

rgb = r * 65536 + g * 256 + b
Also make sure that r, g, and b are in the valid range of 0..255
