Re: different result between explicit handling of orphan and object with parent

Thank you for your answer!
Though it is hard to show the scene, now I come to understand the reason.

Thank you and regard,

Re: different result between explicit handling of orphan and object with parent

oh, the problem is solved when back face detection is unchecked!

But I don't know why it doesn't work properly when back face detection is checked.

different result between explicit handling of orphan and object with parent

Hi, I'm using proximity sensors with explicit handling to get distance data through C++ API. The problem is that the distance value seems correct when the object is orphan, but it doesn't seem correct when the object is under a parent object. Here is my code for Non-threaded child script in the prox...

How can I maintain fast simulation rate with many vision and proximity sensors?

Hi, I used a mobile platform with many lidar (SICK sensor), vision (kinect, camera), and proximity sensors attached. When I ran the simulation with default simulation time (dt=50 ms), simulation went too slow (script executed time: ~ 200 ms, vision sensor rate: ~ 140 ms). Is there any way other than...

getting depth buffer with remote api

Hi, I'm trying to get a depth image matrix using simxGetVisionSensorDepthBuffer function via remote API (C++) What I want to get is m x n image matrix (where the resolution of the image is m x n), but it just gave me a float array with length 2. (I checked the size of buffer data, and sizeof(data) =...
