Re: Inverse Kinematics of Parallel cable robot

Hi, Thank you for the response. I made the necessary changes and was able to perform the FK of the model. But for IK I looked at a few examples and completed the model but the tip dummy doesn't follow the target dummy. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pYfjBbl1UjNbWnSiJSM0CEUJImwYneKB?usp=shar...

Inverse Kinematics of Parallel cable robot

Hi, I am working on the IK of a parallel driven cable robot. I was able to do the forward kinematics of the robot. But with the same configuration I am not able do the IK. The joints just breaks and comes apart. I think there is some mistake in the modelling of the joints. Please refer the link belo...

Position vs time input for moving bodies

Hi, I am trying to do a walking simulation. I have the xyz position vs the time (of the COM of foot and pelvis) Is there a way in v-rep to apply the position wrt time to be followed by a particular body? (in the hybrid mode ) For example I have the xyz vs time values of the feet and I want the feet ...

Asti Model ; Forces sensor ; Torques

Hi all, As a part of my Master's Project ; structural analysis of Humanoid robot. I followed a few steps to arrive at the joint loads(Forces and Moments) acting on various links in Asti robot. 1. I scaled the robot by 1.77 times to get the height to 1.8m (similar to average human adult) 2. I entered...

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.

I added the lowerlegjoint as a child and the results came out good.
Thanks again

Re: Asti Model info for structural Analysis

Hi , Thanks a lot for your reply. I tried using the Vortex engine as suggested. But the results didn't change much (Average Force was about 21 N) Is there something I am doing wrong. Please let me know after reviewing : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Qv1i2qh00DbVf4GbmGrWic4UjgXVGcbS I have alread...

Asti Model info for structural Analysis

Hi everyone, I recently started using V-rep and I am still in the learning process. I have a few queries regarding the inbuilt Humanoid Robot : Asti. For my Master's Project I am working on Structural analysis of Humanoid robot. So I need the Dynamic loads acting on it. My approach as a preliminary ...
