Pioneer p3dx sensors gap
Hello Coppelia, I have been using the mobile robot Pioneer p3-dx, however when making the sensors visible I notice a gap between sensors (7 and 8) and (1 and 2) for the frontal sensors. I checked the robot's datasheet and noticed that the angles in which the sensors are placed on the actual robot ar...

Re: Proximity sensors
Hello Coppelia,
Thank you for your answer.
I fixed the problem by adjusting the detection parameters of the proximity sensors.
Best regards,
Samah.

Proximity sensors
Hello Coppelia, I'd like to ask about the color signification of proximity sensors and their functioning. I've tried reading about them in the documents I could find but I didn't find an answer to my questions. I've noticed that when the proximity sensor's color turns to a dark pink/purple, then tha...

Retrieving the robot's linear velocity
Hello Coppelia, I'm using the simxgetobjectvelocity to retrieve the linear velocity of the robot, however the velocity values I'm retrieving aren't the same. They're half of what I should get. I'm choosing a linear velocity, then converting it to an angular velocity. The values of the velocity I'm s...

Re: Changing the maximum acceleration of a robot
Hello Fferri,
Thank you so much for your answer, but is there a way to chance the maximum acceleration in the joint dynamic properties, without using the torque ? As in accessing directly to the acceleration ?
Best regards,
Samah.

Changing the maximum acceleration of a robot
Hello Coppelia,
I'm using the pioneer p3dx robot, and I'd like to change the maximum acceleration.
In the real robot, I would have to change the actuator/motor, but is there a way in V-REP, to change the maximum acceleration ?
Best Regards,
Samah
