Re: Externalizing scripts for better version control

It seems to me that the current folder is already on package.path (the script is in the same folder as the .ttt). I have prepared a minimum working example of it. See if you can open it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dg10er115ctyb8i/testScene.zip?dl=0 Btw, I made it so it modifies the path only once: fi...

Re: Externalizing scripts for better version control

Hello, thanks for the help. I'm not sure I understood the suggestions (i) add additional lua path and (ii) manipulate lua search path. Here is what I did and the results: (i) I've added the following to system/usrset.txt additionalLuaPath = c:/Users/klaus/Desktop But the error remains the same: Simu...

Re: robot not moving straight

Hello,

The problem is with the wheels.
Your wheels are not of the same size, they are twisted and also not aligned.

If you fix these things it goes in a straight line.

Re: Externalizing scripts for better version control

Hello, Thanks for the reply. I tried this solution but it seems to be constrained to using Vrep's location as root folder, and I get the followinf error: Simulation started. Lua runtime error: C:\Program Files\V-REP3\V-REP_PRO_EDU\lua\utils.lua:95: cannot open C:/Program Files/V-REP3/V-REP_PRO_EDUC:...

Externalizing scripts for better version control

Greetings, I have an issue in a workaround we have been using for version control of scripts. We have been working on a way to mitigate the difficulty of using vrep simulations with version control tools. The approach was to leave all lua scripts outside the simulation in .lua files (as suggested in...

Re: Removing collections and PathPlanning tasks

Hello,
Thank you very much, it is working now. :D

However, I find it strange that collections created during runtime remain after stopping the simulation. Shouldn't the scene revert to exactly how it was before playing it when we hit stop?

Cheers

Re: Removing collections and PathPlanning tasks

Is there a way to do it all programmatically? My manually created collection has the following components: +All objects [-] -From object (incl.) up [mobilerobot] I need to do it using script, so I've tried the following : http://www.coppeliarobotics.com/helpFiles/en/regularApi/simCreateCollection.ht...

Re: Launch simulation without rendering

Launching "vrep.exe myscene.ttt" produces that " MeshCalc' plugin could not be initialized." error. Launching "v_repLauncher.exe myscene.ttt" produces no error, but opens a clean scene instead of my scene. Which means I won't be able to use "v_repLauncher.exe -h my...

Re: Path Planning via the OMPL Plugin for V-REP

Hello, is there a tutorial for how to use it?
For instance, on how to get to what we see in the scenes 6DoFHolonomicPathPlanning.ttt, 3DoFHolonomicPathPlanning.ttt or for using it for path planning with robots like Kuka or the quadcopter?

Regards
