Sorry,
I solved it. Vrep working properly is a problem of the grid ros.
Thank you

Re: Strange Effect With Laser Sensor in ROS
I'm currently using 3.1.1 vrep, Today I try with the latest version available. The same effect with Kinect sensor: http://dropcanvas.com/he1tj/1 Here you can find the scene: http://dropcanvas.com/6lnar I checked the sensor data and the kinect on ros using rviz and seems to be correct in fact the poi...

Strange Effect With Laser Sensor in ROS
Hi to all,
I have three identical laser sensors with the same parameters. I tried to reverse it but those side can not hear obstacles that are relatively close, while the front sensor can hear a lot of obstacles neighbors.
Can you give me some advice?
Thank you

Convert Twist to joint velocity
Hi all,
What is the best way to convert a twist (vx,vy,w respect to base frame) to joint velocity of the wheels ? Refer to envirornmentMapping.ttt, I want to drive the tracks exactly specifying vx, vy, w so to do this you need to convert the speed in speed of the wheels.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Inverse Kinematics Unstable
I'm sorry,
I tried to edit as you said but the base of the piston does not remain centered with the link1. Can you help?

Re: Inverse Kinematics Unstable
I partially solved tuning the masses and inertia but when I add a piston (like the model excavator) the kinematic chain becomes unstable why ?

Re: Inverse Kinematics Unstable
Thanks for the help,
I already tried to change the mass and inertia is increasing or decreasing but remains unstable you can give me some advice because I want to use BULLET or ODE since vortex stops 20 seconds.
thank you very much
Andrea

Inverse Kinematics Unstable
Hello to all,
I'm new with v-rep, I'm trying the inverse kinematics for a mobile robot. I do not understand why it becomes unstable. Can you help me?

Import Texture which format ?
I want to import a mesh with textures, can you recommend a format except .obj. For example with collada the textures are in a folder so How can i import the terxure and the mesh on v-rep?
Thanks
Andre
