Re: Control many joint position

Hi Ok I tested the code you posted before your last edition; that is why I could not see you problem.... So I guess what is happening here is that you have some constrains due to the Inverse Kinematics calculation... If you want to be able to control the joint positions the way you started in your c...

Re: Control many joint position

The code you posted is working... it is impossible to know what is wrong with your code if you post only the working part....

Re: Debugging: Check variable values during simulation

Hi

There is no "debugger" embedded in V-REP, but a set of wisely placed "print" or "simAddStatusbarMessage" does the trick.

Re: Control many joint position

Hi!

What is wrong with your code? it seems to me that it does exactly what it is asked for, i.e. setting only the 3 left legs of the robot to move to the same set of joints (0,-30,30)!

cheers

Re: Wall follower

Hi If you set 0 to one of the wheel and a positive value to the other, the differential drive robot will rotate around this wheel. Try to have a positive value smaller than the other wheel instead of 0. Maybe make the difference of velocity between the wheels proportional to the distance to the wall...

Re: distance between joint

Hi

Do not use a variable that have a . (dot) in its name.... l1.1 should be renamed something like l1_1
I strongly suggest to follow the suggested tutorial or you will be stuck at every line of code.

Re: auxilliary console

Hi

Why are you closing the auxiliary console? it might just be closed before you got a chance to see it

Re: simGetObjectPosition

Hi it means that the function returns an array of 3 parameters, being in that case x,y , and z coordinates in reference to the frame whose handle you put as a second parameter for the function (i.e. relativeToObjectHandle) so for example: handleObject1= simGetObjectHandle("dummy") handleObject2= sim...
