Re: Need help with this program

Hi I did try the code in a scene having all the elements of your simulation, and the robot rotated the same way you described.... so I can tell you for sure that the problem is in the potential fields code not being compatible with the robot... I thought it might be the motor rotation but even by in...

Re: Need help with this program

nope, it s not clear at all.... I had to imply a lot of things in order to get a grip of what you ask.... During the simulation if you do pos={x,y,z} simSetObjectPosition(objetivoID,-1,pos) with x, y and z changing along the simulation, the dummy position (or any object in the scene you get the hand...

Re: Need help with this program

Hi

SimSetObjectPosition().... By doing the dummy appear you mean create it? My suggestion is to have it already created somewhere in ur scene and just move it during the simulation.

Re: Pioneer p3dx

Hi As I already answered in your first post, the -0.2 is just a parameter. As also suggested before, try to understand how Braitenberg algo works. It affects both speed and rotation. If you can not understand this implementation, you d rather implement your own controller based on Braitenberg or oth...

Re: generic laser sensor with +100 to -40C operating range..

Hello,

Sorry to tell you but unless you want to simulate this laser sensor in V-REP, I don t think you are in the proper place to ask this question. You should try a robotic hardware dedicated forum.

Regards

Re: trace movement of robot

Dear Maruf I think you should start using v-rep by doing the tutorial that are available by clicking help-> help topic. You ll learn a lot about how V-REP works and would be surprise how fast you ll be able to do amazing things. To answer your question you could do the 1st one called bubblerob tutor...

Re: Pioneer p3dx

hi you could do something like this to check only 3 sensors for i=1,16,1 do if i==2 or i==5 or i==7 then --consider only sensor 2 , 5 and 7 vLeft=vLeft+braitenbergL[i]*detect[i] vRight=vRight+braitenbergR[i]*detect[i] end end and to randomize the motion, you could try to modify the braitenberg param...

Re: Plotting the Hokuyo measurements

hi As a general workaround when a function exists in the regular API and does not exist in the remote one, most of the time you can use the regular API function into a script passing parameters and reading the result of the function from the remote API program passing messages by tubes or signals. y...
