Re: A max world-size in V rep Scene

Hello,

a dynamically enabled object (or model) will automatically be disabled if outside of a certain area. This is to avoid slowing down V-REP if for instance objects fall off the floor.
You can adjust that area with variable dynamicActivityRange in system/usrset.txt

Re: Multiple times control of Prismatic Joint

Hello, you will have to use some code and API in some way, otherwise you can't achieve this. You have several possibilities to feed the movement data to your robot, either blindly, or by checking whether the desired position was yet reached. Then you can feed the next joint positions, etc. Or you ca...

Re: Using inverse kinematics to move robot to target position and orientation

Hello,

looking at your scene the robot end-effector follows the ring in position and orientation.
But note that you are not using the inverse kinematics functionality at all. Your two tip-target dummies are linked via a dynamics overlap constraint, and your joints are not in IK mode.

Re: Using Spherical joint connect Prismatic joint

Hello,

I am not sure at all that I understand what you mean. Please post a scene illustrating your problem,

Re: Can v-rep handle big amount of objects?

You can optimize things at various levels. As previously described, you can do this for the physics aspect of things. But you can also simply switch to a different object representation depending on a distance factor (e.g. distance to a camera, a robot, etc.). So for instance, if the distance is lar...

Re: UR5 model accuracy

Hello,

not sure how those models were created. Best would be to check with the official UR spec sheets.

Re: get force/torque sensor values

Hello,

you didn't correctly read the documentation. It sais:

bit 0 set (1): force and torque data is available, otherwise it is not (yet) available (e.g. when not enough values are present for the filter)

if Bit 0 is set, this is 1.

Re: Simulation of non-simple, non-convex shapes

Hello,

make sure to carefully read this page, mainly the design considerations 1-11.
Then maybe also this tutorial.

Re: python / bluezero

most dlls are located where the V-REP executable is located. Or you can rebuild them.
