Re: Vrep crashes with seg falut signal 11 when run a C++ plugin

Hello,

from the output the crash happens in your plugin, for whatever reason. Try to see where in the plugin exactly. If you can't use a debugger, try first with simple print statements. Check also if you might have a memory leak.

Re: proximity sensors

From the picture, only one sensor detects the object. This means that you have a bug in your Matlab script.

Make sure to correctly use the legacy remote API streaming mode!
Once streaming was enabled, it will take a few milliseconds before the first packet has arrived.

Hello,

could it be linked to the same timeout problem as in this topic?

Re: python client of B0-based remote API crashed

Hello, this is because you call a function that blocks. Currently there is a connection timeout of 1 second, which is too little. You can modify the timeout value in b0RemoteApi.py , around line 25. In next release that timeout will be one optional argument when starting the B0-based remote API. Che...

Re: OMPL path planning collision issues

You have at least 2 problems in your scene:
  • the object youBot is not collidable.
  • you are not doing path planning with object youBot, but rather with object youBot_ref. That object will be moved around during path planning. But object youBot won't move during that operation.

Hello,

when DO_NOT_USE_SHARED_MEMORY is defined, the legacy remote API will use socket communication instead of shared memory.

Re: Controlling a quadrotor: thrust and torques

Hello, your problems come from the fact that you are using Euler angles to identify an orientation. This is never a good idea since with Euler angles you can have gimbal lock situations (i.e. values changing very quickly in certain situations). This is what happens when your Euler angles are getting...

Thanks for reporting this. Do you have a minimal example that triggers this bug?
