I think you might need to change settings on your google drive link, it doesn't seem to open. You might have left on a setting such as "private only I can access".

I might be able to post one, but I've already isolated the source of slowness to within that child script. If it the 28 copies of it are deleted from the 28 proximity sensor objects which they are on then the sim speeds up by a factor of about 3. Can you advise what, amongst that script, is the thin...

I've found what is slowing me down. I had a go at disabling the script which writes to dummies depending on whether they are illuminated in the cones of LEDs (proximity sensors act as these cones in the sim). I have had to have quite a few convex shapes, the issue is that some of my shapes are the kind of thing which is really hard to represent as a collection of cyliners and/or cubes.
