Re: How to change the gravity during the simulation

Hello,

you can change the gravity in the general dynamics properties.

You can also change gravity programmatically via sim.setArrayParameter(sim.arrayparam_gravity,{gx,gy,gz}).

Alternatively, you can apply forces/torques to objects via sim.addForce and sim.addForceAndTorque.

Re: I'm having problems with RosInterface for VREP

I'm sorry but I have no experience with such linux subsystem. I'm assuming the compiled .so file is not a windows DLL, so you can't simply rename it to .dll and put it in the directory of V-REP for Windows. Of course there were no error messages when V-REP launched, because V-REP for Windows would l...

Re: I'm having problems with RosInterface for VREP

For ROS, I used the windows subsystem for linux/ubuntu 18.04. I used the linux subsystem to install ROS melodic. I looked back into vrep_ws folders and found libv_repExtRosInterface.so. So, I copied it into the V-REP3 folder, but still, no go. Tried coping it into V-REP3/V-REP_PRO_EDU folder, too. ...

Re: Compile c++ code by cmake, using remote API

Hi,

try changing project(tamesi2 CXX) to project(tamesi2) (or project(tamesi2 C CXX)) in your CMakeLists.txt.

Cheers

Re: where to find the object's data detected by the proximity sensors?

The API function sim.readProximitySensor can read the state of a proximity sensor resulting from a previous detection.

Re: Problem witth RosInterface on Ubuntu 16.04

ROS nodes should be compiled with the ROS build tools.

Re: Any pointers about gcode.ttt?

Probably it's an issue with your locale.

Try executing os.setlocale'C' before anything else.

Forgive me for the stupid question, but could this warning have something to do with my LuaCommander plugin behaving as such?

Re: Any pointers about gcode.ttt?

The string "2.5" doesn't seem to give a problem here: $ lua Lua 5.1.5 Copyright (C) 1994-2012 Lua.org, PUC-Rio > x=tonumber('2.5') > print(x) 2.5 > print(type(x)) number Tested also in the V-REP's Lua interpreter (LuaCommander plugin): Simulator launched, welcome! > x=tonumber('2.5') > x 2.5 > type(...
