Re: keyboard input

Hi,

Is there a way to detect if a key is held down rather than pressed? If not, how would I go about implementing it? I'm trying to move a robot ONLY when a key is held.

* EDIT * Ignore this. Using a child script means that the key has to be held.

Thanks

Re: control the model using mouse in simulation mode

Hi, I notice that there isn't a position/orientation dialog in the video. Is it possible to hide this dialog when manipulating the sphere during simulation? In addition to this, I'd like to make it more easier to switch between rotation and translation of objects; say using keys for example, 'R' for...

Streaming joints through signals

Hi, I am trying to get the joint positions of my robot from Vrep to my client using signals. I am wondering if I have the correct approach here. At the moment, I'm setting up a stream with a float signal for each joint in the first iteration of a loop: if (!init) { //Set up buffer to get joint posit...

Re: tutorial inverse kinematic

Didn't check your files but if you haven't already, try putting your joints into IK mode and checking hybrid mode as well.

Change joint mode via remote API

Hi, I'd like to be able to change the operation of a joint mode from the remote API as is possible using the simsetJointMode method in the regular API. The constants for joint modes are available in the vrepConst.h but I don't see any way of utilising them. Is there a method available in the remote ...

Re: How to use v_repExtJoystick.dll?

Hi, thanks. Yeah I forgot to mention that I'm on windows. Is that all there is to it or is there an API somewhere I can refer to? Cheers

How to use v_repExtJoystick.dll?

I'm new to V-Rep and am working with the LBR4p arm. I'm looking to control it with a joypad (XBox 360 controller) and I found the v_repExtJoystick.dll plugin. I've not been able to find any documentation on how to use this however. How do I go about using this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
