double precision for APIs
Most V-REP APIs are 32 bit single float precision, but often that is not sufficient. I would like to be able to use 64-bit double precision values throughout the system.

Re: Running simulation in real-time with short timestep
I'm having similar problems with the simulation falling behind real time. After 5:00 minutes the simulation time says 4:54. dt = 50ms and I'm running on OS X with a late 2014 MacBook pro, so it isn't a low performance machine. When I run in non real-time mode it actually executes faster than real ti...

Solid mesh for milling
I would like the ability to make a mesh solid, so that I can mill out the volume. Ideally I could export the milled shape too. This is likely useful to everyone who needs a milling simulation.

Re: Beta display size issues on MacBook Retina with dual scr
I'm continuing to have similar problems. I tried to give a presentation that included a demo with V-REP. I have a retina display and the external projector was low resolution at 800x600. I had to move the window between screens and I believe due to this display issue V-Rep crashed after a few second...

loading parameters and configuration into a plugin
I'm implementing a plugin that requires several parameters, such as the IP address and port it is communicating with. Most importantly, I would like to be able to set a flag indicating if the hardware in the loop implemented by the plugin should be enabled or not. Is there a mechanism you recommend ...

Running vrep in minimal Ubuntu
I'm trying to run vrep within Docker, a linux container app. This is a minimal installation so very few dependencies are present and I have to install them manually. I'm running into a problem with getting things going, so I added pwd and ldd $dirname/libv_rep.so to vrep.sh to debug the issue. At th...

Re: Text-based save file format
I second the request for a text based save file format. It could be a folder where the main file refers to separate child script files. Versioning should be just as achievable with a text based file format. Compression is actually making things worse for me, because my version control system has to ...

Re: Solid Mesh
For clarification, what does this option do? It can display the camera view in solid or wireframe: [Popup menu --> View --> Solid rendering] http://www.coppeliarobotics.com/helpFiles/en/pagesAndViews.htm Also, what do you click on to get to "Popup menu"? I don't see anything with the optio...
