I did not need to install anything, except downloading and launching vrepVIVE.exe.

the motion controllers are not working, at least not 'out of the box', but I didn't try to find what was the problem.

Boris, thank you so much! This is awesome!
I'm so impressed by this. I really want to try it out in VR now. How difficult is this to set up?

Hi,

If you use the binaries it should run without any problems.

Detailed instructions are given in the readme file.

If you have any problems, let me know.

Kind regards,
Boris

Thanks for the nice replies.

Ishachar, in theory it should have worked, it is nice to actually have a confirmation that it works. I, however, do not think the motion controllers will work. The interface uses the openVR implementation of VTK which is designed around the HTC-VIVE.

I have moved the VR interface to github: https://github.com/BorisBogaerts/V-REP-VR-Interface

New features:
- Binaries are replaced by a microsoft installer file (.msi) to make installation hopefully even easier.
- The interface is more robust
- Textures are visible in VR
- More example scenes are available.
- The interface contains the implementation of my camera network design paper (also featured in example scenes)
