InMoov hand (http://inmoov.blogspot.com) is an open source project of 3D printable robotic hand usable as a CHEAP prosthetic hand.

In this video we show the preliminary result of a possible way to control the hand to generate few predefined motions or control each fingers independently. As the implementation of the actuation system using SMA artificial tendons or servos is not completed, we use a dynamic simulation of the inMoov hand to develop control algorithms.

Here's another great 3d prosthetics project by FATHOM and e-NABLE: https://mylocal3dprinting.com/blog/ador ... hetic-arm/ - which is licensed under the creative commons license.
