Child scrip window and parameter window bind up vrep

I have found a situation where vrep will bind up and I have had to restart the program to get control back (in windows at least).
To illustrate the bug:
-Create a new scene
-Create any primitive shape
-Add an associated un-threaded child script to shape
-Open child script window
-Open script parameter window
-Place script parameter window such that it is completely inside the boarders of the child script window
-Select the child script window
At this point the script parameter window is hidden behind the child script window, but it is still the active window. Thus you cannot click on or select anything.
When this bug occurs, if you have 'hide console window' checked you can right click on vrep icon in taskbar and choose close and the script parameter window will reappear on the top layer and you can then close it. If you have 'hide console window' unchecked then doing this will just close the vrep main window and initiate full vrep shutdown in console window.
