V-REP Crash

Post by neshom » 30 Mar 2019, 04:08

I am constantly getting the following error which causes V-REP to freeze and eventually crash:

Code: Select all

Error: signal 11:

libv_rep.so(_Z11_segHandleri+0x28)[0x7fe664187c38]
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x354b0)[0x7fe667ff44b0]

libQt5Gui.so.5(_ZN22QGuiApplicationPrivate24processWindowSystemEventEPN29QWindowSystemInterfacePrivate17WindowSystemEventE+0x135)[0x7fe662633d45]
I usually crashes when I close Object/Item Rotation/Orientation or Object/Item Translation/Position dialog after moving or rotating objects.

Do you know the reason/solution?

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 and the latest version of V-REP for Ubuntu 16.04.

Thanks

Hello,

not sure... I cannot observe that behaviour. Does it happen systematically, or randomly. Does it freeze at the moment of closing the dialog?

Cheers

We'll bring revision 3 out (or release 3.6.1) within 1-2 days. Thanks for mentioning this bug!

Cheers
