Hi, I dont know if it is a bug or not but I tried to add some objects to my scene all with the same name but with #i at the end where i goes from 0 to a certain number, when I save and restart the application the last one of this object automatically changes into a name without #i.
For istance:
feature#1
feature#2
feature#3
feature#4
feature#5
turns into
feature
feature#1
feature#2
feature#3
feature#4
I'm using V-REP PRO EDU v3.0.3 on windows 8 x64

Hello,
have a look at how object handles are retrieved from a child script in V-REP. Have also a look at this and that post.
But you are right, the automatic name adjustment can be confusing at first. We removed it in next V-REP release (V3.0.5), but you will still be able to clean up names via the environment properties if needed.
