A small display problem with new versions of v-rep. 3.0.5
When I open the menus or the external lua editor V-rep video turns white to come back with the correct display when I close the menu or close the lua editor.
I think it's changed the way v-rep accesses the video drivers.
I use a video card AMD Radeon HD 7350 and updated drivers in windows 7.
For the moment, I reinstalled version 3.0.4 v-rep.

A small display problem
Re: A small display problem
Hello Edgar,
On our tested machines this problem doesn't appear (Win8, Win7). That bug ist very probably also linked to Qt5.1.1, many problems with it...
Maybe you could try to update your windows or drivers. Or tweak your graphic card settings to see if it is linked to your graphic card or something else.
Cheers

Re: A small display problem solved
I installed v-rep V3_1_0.
Now selecting the menu no problem
I only see a small blink on the screen when I move my mouse over the menu.
Unfortunately now there is' another problem
When I try to close v-rep, the program does not close but freeze and I have to close it with the task manager.
For the moment I again reinstalled the version 3_0_4.

Re: A small display problem
Hello Edgar,
can you try to turn all the debug features on (in [menu bar --> help --> debug]) and try to quit. Then send us the log file (debugLog.txt)

Re: A small display problem
It seems the problem is linked to the v_repExtRemoteApi plugin, which hangs when unloading. More specifically, this problem appears when your system is blocking V-REP from doing socket connections. Check the firewall settings, make sure V-REP is not blocked there.
If you cannot allow V-REP to do any connections, then edit the file remoteApiConnections.txt, in order to not automatically start a remote API server service.
Thanks for your help!
