Would it be easy to compile with the latest bullet engine released to see if that has any effect?

Since Bullet 2.78 and 2.83 both show the same issue, I really believe this must be an adjustable threshold value somewhere in the Bullet engine..

Any luck finding the threshold value? Would be awesome if it can make the 3.5.0 release!

unfortunately we haven't dug into this issue any further. The dynamics plugin source code can be found here, for those that may want to give it a try.
