What's the diff between main view and float view?

Post by light »

I'm a newcomer of V-REP, now following the tutorial to learn how to use V-REP.

And there is a question when I am reading "BubbleRob tutorial" , there is a question and I don't know what it means.

That is, what the difference between main view and float view?

Hello,

a float view (or floating view) is a viewport that can be moved inside of the main view, i.e. it is overlapped. A floating view is used to display the image content of a camera, vision sensor or graph, and you can have as many of them as needed. You can create it with a right click in the scene view: [popup menu --> Add --> Floating view].

Cheers
