Can the central point of an object be moved?
So I noticed that for a shape the central point that it pivots on and shows it position in the editor is always directly in the center of a square bounding box around the object. Is there a way to change this? It makes it much easier to rotate objects and to put them back in the same position after modifying them if that point can be moved to where a leg connects to a motor or something like that

Hello,
unfortunately you can't do that directly. But in order to achieve this, you should use auxiliary joints, connect your shape to it, and pivot around those joints instead. Once done, you can remove them again.
Cheers
