I'm trying to get the proximity sensor to detect a basic shape. I've added both to the scene and wrote a simple script to get the vrep.simxReadProximitySensor() returned value. It returns True when I add a pre-existing object , such as a laptop, but it doesn't work when I used a custom shape.
It is set as renderable, collidable, detectable ...
