I have a question regarding the simplified Barret hand model. I remember that it is simplified in that it ignores the "threshold force" and I am trying to work out what that means? Does it mean that when it grasps an object there is a threshold force that would typically stop the grasp from exerting too much pressure on the object? And if so how is it able to grasp and hold rather than crush the object?
If the Force threshold setting is the amplitude of the force vector that triggers a threshold violation what does that mean in terms of the simplified Barrett hand model?
Are this and the single joint/motor the only things that make it simplified?
Typically: "How do I... ", "How can I... " questions
