I use a quadricopter model from V-Rep. When I modify mass of it, during simulation it falls. In the other topic I found that the solution is Vortex engine, but it doesn't work. Should I modify something else?

you will have to adjust the controller. Or even better, write a new controller from scratch, since the demo controller is very old, not good, and no one remembers exactly how it operates ;)
