How can I import the shape with original colors

After entering Shape edit mode, go into Edge edit mode, select some edges and you have the option to extract the path.

I figured that out and edited the question .
is the collision module just detects ? I want to avoid collision of robot with his own self and with other objects in the scene and also import the shape with original colors

Shapes are imported with their original colors. Just make sure you have the latest V-REP version with the assimp plugin.

About the collision detection module, yes it is a calculation module, it can give visual feedback or the collision information can also be read from script.

You might want to check the distance calculation module, or the motion planning plugin if you need to avoid collisions.
