CodeEditor loading problem

Post by zdenoB » 31 Oct 2019, 08:01

Hello,
I have a problem with CodeEditor loading problem under Ubuntu 18.04.
When I run vrep with sudo, then everything works fine. CodeEditor load Succeeded.
But when I run in without sudo, then i get this information:
CodeEditor': loading...
Error with plugin 'CodeEditor': load failed (could not load). The plugin probably couldn't load dependency libraries. For additional infos, modify the script 'libLoadErrorCheck.sh', run it and inspect the output.
In libLoadErrorCheck is defined:

ldd "$dirname/libv_rep.so" #replace libv_rep.so with the library that is having difficulties to load

but I don't know the name of Library behind CodeEditor.

I would like to run vrep without sudo. Is there a chance to solve it?
Thanks in advance.
Zdeno

Maybe you can try with the beta version of CoppeliaSim, which is to replace V-REP.

Cheers

Thank you. I tried it, but I have the same result.
