create a rectangular container

Hi. I would like to make a rectangular container in v rep with a sliding bottom. Is it possible with the primitive shapes?

I am pretty new to v rep, so i will really appreciate any input or link to source regarding this problem

Hello,

this sounds like no problem. But I am not sure what you mean with sliding bottom?
For a rectangular container, i.e. a box open on top, that need to interact dynamically, best would be to use 5 pure cuboids (one for each face) that you then group to a grouped shape. Make sure the face thickness is not too small.
