Post by Rui »

In addition to the binary *.ttt file, is it possible to save a scene in XML format?

Hello,

this is currently not possible, but planned for. But you can write your own data to file, saving particular aspects of a scene in a text, XML, etc. format. For that, you would use a child script or an add-on script for instance. There is such an add-on that will do a minimalistic export/import of a scene content, have a look inside the V-REP folder.

I'll add to this saying that a human-readable file format is really what is missing to vrep. Such an xml format will push vrep a LARGE step forward in terms of workflow.
