Hi!
I would like to move Asti robot example with my kinect sensor.
I have connected properly my kinect sensor to my pc and I have executed all examples which are in OpenNi directory and they work ok.
In V-REP, I have followed all steps indicated in the window which appears when you add a new interfacte to kinect.ttm to the scene. Nevertheless, when I start my simulation, it appears a command window and it disappears really quickly. I can't see what it is written. Then, it doesn't happen anything. I don't know if I have modify the files I have copied in my V-REP installation directory properly. I enclose then to check if they are correct:

By the way, I have read in other topics of this forum that it is necessary to rewrite KinectServer.exe code to include the new drivers. Can it be the error? Does anyone have this code?

yes, you will very probably have to rewrite the kinectServer.exe to work with the newer Kinect/driver versions. Unfortunately.

I have found this tutorial in which you can find the old kinect drivers so you don't need to modify kinect_server file:
