Hi
I have six DOF robot in VREP simulation and it now currently controlled by ROS commands. Now I would like to do manual control of the robot using Joystick. I am using ubuntu 18.06 so I am using ROS melodic. What kind of Joystick I should buy for this purpose?
Joystick (inputs) -> ROS node-> VREP simulation.
I want to control the opening and closing of the gripper for pick and place of an object and I would like to control some of the joints. Could you please help me or suggest how should I proceed with it.
I read VREP for Windows plugin - XBOX 360 Controller input integration is used for controlling the mobile robot. Is there is something for the Linux system as well? Many Thanks in Advance. You are doing a great job :)

Not really relevant to V-REP, but since you already have implemented ROS message input, there is the joy package for ROS.
