Hello,
I believe it should be allowed to be possible to do range selections in the scene hierarchy. i.e. you select a line, you shift-selected another line and all items in between are also selected. Because sometimes it is painful to shift select in the 3D view, especially if some items are viewable and others not, or when there are many cluttered objects in the scene.
Thanks,
Antoine.
Range selections in hierarchy
Re: Range selections in hierarchy
Hi Antoine,
in the scene hierarchy, you can press the shift-key, hold it pressed, then select a region with the mouse. To select all consecutive objects, make sure no hierarchy node is collapsed ([popup-menu --> Expand all])
Cheers

This is not a very conventional way to implement range selections but it works fine. Thanks.
