V-REP is a very powerful software with so many features and it's only natural that that comes at the expense of ease of use. For that, it is empirical that you start building a series of video tutorials to cover as many aspects of V-REP as possible. I know you already have a textual tutorial on your web site but its impact isn't nearly as significant as video tutorials. Mathematica is a typical example. Its community has expanded exponentially thanks to its growing database of video tutorials.

We will still stick to the current UI for a while.
There are a few basic video tutorials available here in the mean time.
