Robot Mounted on Gantry in V-Rep

Is it possible to use the belts, provided in v-rep, to use as a gantry system on top of which a robot manipulator can be mounted?

Hello Miriam,

for a gantry system, best would be to use prismatic joints. You could use a belt-like system for visual effects, but that is not the easiest task I guess.
