Hello,all.
I started to use the V-REP lately. I'm using it,have some questions.
Please let me know if you have good solutions.

Q1.How to change objects' size which are robots or humans in V-REP ?

Q2.How to attach a camera or sensors on the robot?

Q3.How to change the color of the object?

Q4.How to make an uneven terrain to conduct travelling tests using a robot?

I use a version of the following V-REP.
[V-REP PRO EDU ver:3.2.2(rev.1)]

Hi!

Q1: select the robot or human, then tools-> scene object properties->common->scaling

Q2: add the sensor in the scene, set its orientation and position using the 8th icon of the tool bar (Object/ item shift and Object/item rotate), finally in the scene hierarchy, drag and drop the sensor inside the robot's tree

Q3: select the object, then tools-> scene object properties->adjust color. Note that if the object is a group of object/shapes you will need to ungroup the group of object/shapes (select the groupe, right click on the scene->edit->grouping/merging-> ungroup selected shapes

Q4: In the model browser->nature->terrain

I suggest you spend some time on the tutorials in order to get a grip on how V-REP works. They are a great way to start using V-REP.

Cheers

Eric

Thanks Eric,

a little precision about Q3: since release 3.2.2, you do not need to ungroup a grouped shape in order to change its visual attributes. You can select the grouped shape, then enter the edit mode for grouped shapes.

Cheers
