Programmatically switch view

How can I programmatically switch the current view? I'd like to go through various views during a same simulation, to be able to record only interesting parts. I'd like to do this from a child script.
Thanks

Dynamic simulation is slow and unstable

My simulation is quite slow and unstable: calculation seems to take long for dynamics calculation. In addition to that, the colliding objects react in a strange way (slightly jumping, even when they are supposed to be lying on the floor).

How can I improve speed and stability in that case?

Thanks

Hello,

It seems there is a bug in the URDF importer plugin: my objects are not in the right position/orientation.

Re: getting v-rep to run

Hello again,

I could resolve the issue. It all had to do with a missing libpng12 (as
I have libpng15). So installing libpng12 fixed the issue.

I am looking forward to work with the environment. Seems quite
promissing to me.

Re: getting v-rep to run

Dear coppelia, thanks for the quick reply! I did exactly as you told me. The only library missing is libpng12.so, since I have libpng15.so on my system. I symlinked it, so ldd shows that it finds all librarys both on libv_rep.so as well as vrep. Also I did an strace on vrep, but I could not find a s...

getting v-rep to run

Dear Sir, I have been trying to get V-REP running under Gentoo-Linux (64bit). I have successfully downloaded the educational package and as well the source code, and with some minor adjustments, got it to compile through (qtcreator). Unfortunately, I do not now where to start from here, since only a...

Retrieving the dimensions of an object or objects bounding b

Hello, First of all I really like the product you are producing. I do have a question which I can't seem to find in the docs, or I am searching for the incorrect keyword. I want to take advantage of some of the prefab models. However when I place these on a scene I want to find the dimensions of the...

opencv and V-REP

Hello,

How would I go to include openCV (or at least a few filters) in V-REP?

Cheers

V-REP messages do not appear in my console

Hello,

I am using V-REP 3.0.0 on MacOS X, and I can't see V-REP messages in my console. I would like to verify whether my plugin loaded correctly.

Thanks
