Re: question about model parts' size/position changing

Hello, my best guess is that you are only changing the visible part of the wheel (oftentimes, a simplified and hidden shape is used for the dynamic aspect). Make sur you inspect the scene hierarchy. If this is the case, make sure to also modify the hidden shape. You can quickly inspect hidden layer...

Re: question about model parts' size/position changing

Which command are you using to move your robot (sim.setJointTargetVelocity or sim.setJointTargetPosition). If you are using sim.setJointTargetVelocity it takes angular velocity as an input.. It means wheels will travel different distance by changing the radius of it. I didn't use command. I just ch...

question about model parts' size/position changing

Hello, I want to change some parts of a model(e.g. the size of the wheel of a car or the position of the wheel(inside the car body)), but when I did so, the car can't move like before. Is there any parameter I should've adjusted? Please help me solve this problem, I want the model move as usual afte...

Re: question about full screen simulation

Hello, the full screen mode is tricky when interacting with the user via dialogs. The full screen mode usually doesn't end when a dialog shows, but the (empty) main window and the dialogs will partially cover the full screen mode. The only option is to move those items to the side, or better, onto ...

question about full screen simulation

Hello, I set the full screen simulating which is totally cover by a floating view of a camera, and I set a dialog appearing when simulating, but the full screen will end when the dialog appear, and I need to click back to the full screen. how to solve this problem? I want to keep the full screen whe...

Re: how to restart the time recording when the model is simulating

No, you can't reset the simulation time to zero while simulation is running. If this is related to a graph plotting the data, you can create two specific graph streams ( sim.addGraphStream ) , one for the time, the other for value you want to record, then create an x/y curve with them ( sim.addGrap...

Please give us more information. what is the timerecording? Is it a graph? another model?

Cheers
it means the Simulation Time will restart from 0 when the model is simulating, rather than stop the simulation.

how to restart the time recording when the model is simulating

Hello, now I can reset my model to a new position. And I want to know is there a way to restart the timerecording(recording from 0) when my model get to a new position?

Re: Problems about sim.setObjectPosition for LineTracer

Hello, the above code to reset or teleport a dynamic model is wrong. Following is the correct way of doing this: In the initialization phase of the script, make sure to memorize the relative poses of all objects in the model. Additionally, you could also memorize the joint states, etc.: -- Init pha...

question about getting Joystick data and writing it into the file

Hello! I've achieved to control my model(a car) by a joystick, but I failed to correctly transfer it's data to a file. In particular, I firstly defined a function to define my car's moving state: function current_moving(m) local moving=nil if(m==0) then moving='wait' elseif(m==1) then moving='forwar...
