Re: OMPL orientation constraint
Hello, Thanks for the information, I've implemented the validationCb and I have attempted the simOMPL.setValidStateSamplerCallback. I've found that depending on the OMPL algorithm used, it isn't always called? And when it is called, depending on the OMPL algorithm it either uses the simOMPL.validSta...

Re: OMPL orientation constraint
Hello, Ok, here is a link to the scene: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/xehlb2wjd3bgx0by55ewz/Pick_Place_constrained_motion.ttt?rlkey=ggle7nz6yqgv9wg97jls3vacj&dl=0 its just a simple pick up a cup and move it, keeping it upright with an orientation constraint. Do you have a suggestion on how to b...

OMPL orientation constraint
Hello, I'm trying to path plan using OMPL whilst keeping the orientation of the end effector the same (eg carrying a cup of liquid task). I'm not able to find how to set the contraint in the sim.ompl api. I've tried using the validation callback to check the orientation of the end effector but it ru...

Pass values into child script in headless mode
Hello, Sorry for the simple question but I've not been able to find how to do it. Please is there a way to pass a value into the child script when running in headless mode? Like this: ./coppeliaSim.sh -h -s myscene.ttt <value to pass in> function coroutineMain() X= <value passed> print(X) end So tha...

Re: Redundant arm IK solution with one fixed joint
Hi,
I used this link https://coppeliarobotics.com/files/tmp/ ... u20.tar.xz for the Ubuntu20 (looks like both posted pointed to the version18)
Ran it and it works nicely now for my scene fixing whichever passive joint in the IK.
Thank you very much!
