Nope - it's my system rather. I am on 16.04, which cannot install indigo. I need to hop over to 14.04 and start again.

Using catkin build rather I get these issues - which I am working on, but if you have seen this before please let me know.

Errors << vrep_plugin_skeleton:make /home/ashley/catkin_ws/logs/vrep_plugin_skeleton/build.make.001.log
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lroslib
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lrospack ...

Now I really am stuck.

When I run ./vrep.sh I get this error:

libv_repExtRos.so: undefined symbol: _ZN3ros4initERiPPcRKSsj

and when I do a check by running ./libLoadErrorCheck.sh:

V-REP_PRO_EDU_V3_3_1_64_Linux/libLoadErrorCheck
./libLoadErrorCheck.sh: 21: ./libLoadErrorCheck.sh: /home/ashley/V ...

Please bear with me as I problem solve.

I deleted my build/ folder and started again and now I get this error:

i downloaded and install teh new version and ROS is looaded but the plugins are not. i tried to follow your tutorial but really not clear for a beginner on ubuntu!!

so how do i make sure that ros is aware about the plugins and that roscd reconized the plugin

Hi. Thanks - tried that but it just makes the background black. A little more looking and found a way to change my environment properties:

Tools -> Environment Properties.

And set everything to white.

I get that the background goes black and I can delete it to make it white. Any way to make it seethrough?

Is there a way to remove / make the background in vrep translucent? And to take a high-quality screen-shot of scene, at specific point in simulation. So far I have taken a video but I need a screen shot.
